Dr Kaushik Guha is a Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in Heart Failure and Complex Devices, currently practising at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, where he has been the clinical lead for heart failure services since 2016. He was a specialist registrar within South Thames, receiving training at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, and St. George's Hospital, London, and completed his fellowship training in advanced heart failure and complex devices at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals.

His clinical training enables him to manage all aspects of general cardiology, with a particular focus on heart failure care. He has developed specialist interests in cardiac amyloidosis, cardiac sarcoidosis, and technologies involved in remote monitoring. Beyond initial diagnosis, he provides contemporary, patient-centred ongoing care, recognized by a national Pumping Marvellous Foundation award. He maintains proficiencies in conventional pacing, defibrillators (ICD), and cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT).

Dr Guha is an active participant in cardiovascular research at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, serving as the local primary investigator for several heart failure studies, including novel technologies for remote monitoring and new heart failure therapies. He was awarded his doctoral thesis by Imperial College, London, for studies involving patients with cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT). He has published numerous peer-reviewed publications, including contributions to the Oxford Textbook of Medicine.
